#2 – From WV MetroNews – Putnam Co. Apprenticeship
Launch
A Putnam County company, in partnership with Marshall University,
is rolling out a new apprenticeship program in advanced
manufacturing. Participants gain on-the-job training, college
credits, and career opportunities—helping fill in-demand technical
roles right here in the Mountain State. It’s a strategic boost for
WV’s skilled workforce pipeline.
#3 – From Outside Online – WV Road Trip Feature
Outside Online included West Virginia in its new “ULTIMATE
road-trip” guide—covering scenic byways, small-town culture, and
outdoor must-sees. From Eastern Panhandle wineries to mountain-top
overlooks and hidden waterfalls, the story invites explorers to
truly experience Almost Heaven. The route offers a turn-by-turn
invitation to discover the Mountain State.
